This is my favorite spot in the Bitterroot Valley! City Center Motel is the only lodging located right on Main Street in Hamilton. It is walking distance to all the best coffee, food, bars, and shopping this historic town has to offer; a few miles from a couple of beautiful parks right on the river; a short drive to some of the best outdoorsman spots in the Bitterroot; quaint, quiet, clean, and comfortable; dog friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I stayed at City Center for a couple of weeks while traveling, and I left feeling like family. This little gem is under new ownership, and I’ve heard whispers that there are many exciting upgrades in the works. I can’t wait to visit again and see this lovely little motel blossom!

Great place to stay to be in walking distance to downtown Hamilton. Staff is friendly and courteous and the room we were in was clean and comfortable. The bathroom has been recently updated and the towels were thick!

    We don't serve breakfast on-site, but you're in good hands. There are four coffee shops within a three-block walk from the hotel where you can grab a sit-down breakfast or take it to go. 

  • Is there laundry on the property?

    Fast & Fluffy Laundromat is located five blocks away and easy to reach on foot. 

  • How close is the ski slope?

    Lost Trail Powder Mountain is about 45 minutes south. City Center Motel is the perfect base for a ski trip without the resort price tag. 

  • Is there river access nearby?

     Kiwanis Park is five blocks away and offers a stunning walking trail, benches, and majestic views of the Bitterroot River and the mountains. It's one of the best spots in Hamilton for a morning walk.
