The Bitterroot Valley offers a variety of activities for you to enjoy. For example, our property is conveniently located just down the road from the Bitterroot River, and the Bitterroot River is one of the best places in Montana for fly fishing, especially, dry fly fishing. You'll find rainbow trout, brown trout, cutthroat trout, and bull trout. Whitefish are also plentiful in parts of the river.
Another great activity is hiking in the Bitterroot National Forest. The Bitterroot Mountains are located to the west, and the Sapphire Mountains are to the east. The 1.6 million acre Bitterroot National Forest both of these ranges and has some of the best hiking trails in the country. Enjoy such iconic trails as Bass Creek Trail, Sweathouse Falls, and Bear Creek Overlook Trail.
And don't overlook boating adventures. On the Bitterroot River, you have access to over 76 miles of floatable river. You can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and rafting. Our area has a number of guide services that can help with all your paddling adventures.
